Meet the founder
A childhood dream, called Gigi.
My name is Pawani Manamperi, and Gigi is the loving name my family calls me at home. Since childhood, I dreamed of creating a brand of my own—so when the time came, Gigi was the most personal name I could give it.
I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Systems from the University of Westminster and went on to work with some of Sri Lanka's leading organisations. Today, I serve as Chief Operating Officer of Sugar Coliving Group while building Gigi's Clothing Co.
I created Gigi's for hotels and boutiques, and especially for Sugar Coliving guests who want to bring home something unique and beautifully made. By working with local Sri Lankan vendors and choosing sustainable, eco-friendly products wherever possible, the brand supports our community while offering quality pieces with a story.
